Submit your Photo/Art Work

Thanks for your interest in publishing your work in Puerto Rico E-cards. The following forms will allow you to submit your work thru the Web, please follow the 2 easy steps. If you have any questions or comments, please send a note to maggy@toPuertoRico.org.

Step 1 of 2: Read Carefully

Requirements for publication:

1. All Photo/art work must be your original work. Work from other people/authors will be process ONLY if the submission includes an authorization letter from the original author.
   
   
2. Photo/art work must not contain any form of nudity, profanity, or otherwise indecent display.
   
   
3. Photo/art work most not contain any markings, watermarks or text. Names of work and copyright notes will be included below photo/art work once is placed online. When submitting photos/graphics by e-mail try to submit photos/graphics with original scan dimensions no less than 400 pixels of width or height and no less than 72 dpi. You may submit photos/graphics, with bigger dimensions, we can take care of resizing the photos/graphics.
   
   
4. Welcome to Puerto Rico! will consider any photo/art work for publication. However, we are most interested in work that will be of interest to a good percentage of WPR's users. This does not mean all work have to be spectacular. It simply means that we want work that are at least interesting, ones that are unusual, unique and beautiful. Quality is a big consideration. A blury, fuzzy or damaged photo/art work stands little chance of being published unless it is otherwise so uncommon or astounding that we can't pass it up. We look for all kinds of photo/art work, as long as they relate to Puerto Rico in some way.

Welcome to Puerto Rico! does not guarantee that all work submitted will be published. If your work is submitted elsewhere, before or after submission to Welcome to Puerto Rico!, we must be notified. Failing to notify will result in all submissions being rejected, and existing work being removed. Welcome to Puerto Rico! prefer unpublished work, as we like to provide remarkable and fresh content to our users. Publication of your work on other electronic cards sites may hurt your chances of publishing the work on Welcome to Puerto Rico!

By submitting your work to Welcome to Puerto Rico! site, you agree that it can be exposed to and used by the public. You grant to Welcome to Puerto Rico! license to use, reproduce, display, modify, transmit and distribute your work. No fees will be paid to the authors, nor fees will be charged to Puerto Rico E-cards users. Photo/art work that is subject to commercial license or any copyright restriction won't be process without written permission from the author(s).

You certify that you are the author or sole owner of the material, and you represent that the work does not violate the rights of any third party, including copyright, patent, and trademark, and you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Welcome to Puerto Rico! harmless from and against any and all liability and costs incurred by Welcome to Puerto Rico! in connection with any claim arising out of any breach of your representations herein.

Welcome to Puerto Rico! reserves the right to reject or remove any material for any reason.

Author retains copyright. If we accept your submission, you do not lose copyright privileges on your work. You retain copyright on the work.

Welcome to Puerto Rico! reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove any portion of this Agreement in whole or in part, at any time. Changes in this Agreement will be effective when notice of such change is posted. Your continued use of the site after any changes to this Agreement are posted will be considered acceptance of those changes.
